Talking Book and Braille Services


The Goshen County Library will work cooperatively with the representative of Visually Handicapped Services responsible for serving Goshen County to provide this type of service for those who qualify. The library will function as a referral center for people needing such service and for the representative of the Blind and Physically Handicapped program through the federal government.

Kids In The Library


Story times- Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 10:15-10:45

Each Tuesday and Wednesday morning a staff member will present a variety of stories and crafts for preschoolers. This story time is geared towards 3-5 year olds capable of participating independently of their adult caregivers. Caregivers are welcome to join in until the child is comfortable.

Interlibrary Loan


Requests that cannot be met with available materials will be directed to another library in an attempt to provide the material requested. Patrons are required to pay the current interlibrary loan postage fee in effect along with any other costs assigned by the agency which lends the requested material. Fees may be changed as postage rates change.

Homebound Visitation


Individuals who are homebound may utilize the home delivery provided by the library. Staff members make home deliveries in person for those people living within the city limits of the county seat. Other arrangements may be made with individuals residing elsewhere in the county.
