“Drop Everything and Read” Day
April 12

D.E.A.R Day, or “Drop Everything and Read” Day, is a national celebration of reading designed to remind families to make reading a priority activity in their lives. This day is celebrated every year on April 12th for author Beverly Cleary’s birthday. D.E.A.R. time was a reading practice featured in the Ramona books.
To celebrate, the Goshen County Library invites you to stop and D.E.A.R. We will have Ramona Quimby inspired activity books and PRIZES for kids that choose to spend some time in the library reading.
